Joel has spent more than 20 years in television, developing and maintaining relationships with professional athletes, coaches, and team management. He has become a powerful public speaker and presenter, talking with groups about the networking principles he’s learned from his experiences of interviewing successful icons. Joel drives home a strong message of personal perseverance tailored to each and every audience and focuses on delivery impact for growth.
Upon completion of his degree in journalism and history at the University of Wisconsin, Joel began his professional broadcasting career at the NBC affiliate in Rhinelander, Wisconsin before moving back to Madison as a sports reporter for NBC15, WMTV. He went from covering Brett Favre and the Packers to Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk and the Rams after a move to St. Louis. Joel was awarded the 2001 Mid-America Emmy Award for Sports Reporting and also traveled to multiple World Series, Super Bowls and NHL playoffs during nine years at KTVI Fox 2 and Fox Sports Midwest, reporting on stars like Mark McGwire and Albert Pujols.
Joel relocated his family to Kansas City in 2008 and witnessed the emergence of Eric Hosmer, Salvador Perez and the 2015 World Champion Royals. He became and continues to be an integral part of the Royals’ broadcast team and the overall Kansas City community.

In 2016, as a single mom without a college degree, Aaron Fulk founded her marketing agency, Lillian James Creative, in her garage. Aaron leaned on her sales and social media talents, tapped into her personal and professional networks, and utilized her intuition and ambition to overcome obstacles and conquer challenges, in order to experience personal growth and achieve company goals.
Aaron is a self-taught thought leader in the marketing industry and was a part of the 8th entrepreneurial cohort of Scale Up! Kansas City. Aaron sits on the Marketing Council for the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri and the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. Aaron has been featured in publications such as the Junior League's Inside Scoop and Thinking Bigger Business Magazine.
Aaron regularly produces her own podcast, The Cocktail Hour Podcast, where inspirational women in business share ideas and concepts that are designed to motivate, inspire and challenge today's businesswoman. Aaron has been a speaker at Leadership Lyceum, Women In Sales, Social Media Club of Kansas City, Leawood Chamber of Commerce, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, and Central Exchange.
Aaron and her company have come a long way since 2016. She has grown her company out of her garage and through 4 office spaces (so far) and has established a strong creative team of 13. With almost 15,000 LinkedIn connections, Aaron excels at understanding and strategically leveraging online platforms to build her network, expand her influence, and grow her company.
