Speaker Bio:

L. David Kingsley is the Chief People Officer (CPO) of Intercom, the leading Customer Service platform for internet businesses. Intercom unites the power of automation and human support, in a single cohesive platform that enables conversational and omnichannel service across proactive and reactive engagements with the power of ChatGPT.

 

In addition to his current operator role at Intercom, Kingsley serves as an independent director on the Board of Directors of Nivati, as well as in advisory roles at Bloom, ChangeEngine, Performetry, and Enterprise Ireland.

 

Kingsley joined Intercom from Alteryx, the cloud-based  leader in accelerating analytics, data science and business process automation for digital transformation. Prior to Alteryx, Kingsley was the Chief People Officer at  Vlocity leading up to and through its acquisition by Salesforce. Prior to Vlocity, Kingsley served in executive roles at MuleSoft as the Head of Global People & Places, and at Salesforce as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Strategy & Operations. 

 

Previously in his career, Kingsley served in Organization Development practice leadership roles at Accenture and Booz Allen, working with clients in the U.S. Intelligence Community, Oil & Gas, and Communications and High Technology industries. He holds an M.A. in Organizational Sciences from George Washington University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Catholic University. Kingsley is a retired Lieutenant from the U.S. Navy Reserve and lives with his family in Newport Beach, California.
