Samantha Slade is a Co-founder of Ecto, a coworking cooperative in her home city Montreal, Canada, and Percolab, an international co-creation and co-design firm, Samantha is driven by the transition to the future of work. With a background in anthropology and education, Samantha pioneers novel organizational models and practices. Governments, businesses, professional associations and foundations hire Samantha to help tackle their complex challenges. Recently, she co-created a new competency guide to take the HR profession into its future.

Denis Collins is a pragmatic idealist, and a Professor of Business at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, where he teaches classes in management and business ethics. He’s been advocating for socially responsible organizations since his supermarket managing days, and upon getting his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990. His latest books, Business Ethics: Best Practices for Designing and Managing Ethical Organizations and Essentials in Business Ethics: Creating an Organization of High Integrity and Superior Performance, provide practical "how-to" examples and best practices on every area of managing ethics inside organizations. His almost finished current book is about what to do after implementing all the best practices in business ethics and employees are still not behaving well. Denis has also won several teaching and service awards, and has survived life-threatening cancer a few times.

Going Horizontal Workshop
Led by Samantha Slade
Take a deep dive with Samantha Slade (founder of PercoLab and author of Going Horizontal) on Friday, March 29 at Edgewood College.
In this full day workshop you will develop your horizontal leadership mindset and practices, build peer coaching skills, and develop ways you can use your personal leadership to create impact in your workplace.
The registration includes the full day event – a chance to really get to know the author – a copy of Going Horizontal, and four virtual book group meetings. (The workshop will be prefaced with the opportunity to read and discuss Going Horizontal through a virtual book group beginning in beginning in February, to be held at noon CST – Fridays 2/15, 2/22, 3/8 and 3/15 – with others who will be attending! You may invite friends and colleagues to join you online during the book group sessions at no cost. Let’s build a horizontal community!)
