In 2021, we launched CultureSpace, a free digital platform for our community to cultivate connections, ask questions, and share knowledge with other like-minded organizational culture enthusiasts. Since then, our community has grown to include hundreds of members with engagement topics spanning Talent Development & Coaching; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Remote Work; Change Management; and Employee Wellbeing.
Over the past week, our CultureSpace community has been discussing:
1. Book Club Recommendations. For organizations that have, or are considering, Book Clubs, we shared our favorite titles that uplift organizational culture and highlight the human experience. Top recommendations include:
“The Power of Moments” by Chip and Dan Heath
“The Culture Code” by Daniel Coyle
“The Alchemist” by Paul Coelho
“Humanocracy” by Gary Hamel and Michelle Zanini
2. “Toxic Culture is Driving the Great Resignation.” Posted by Jeff Dieffenbach, past CultureCon speaker and Associate Director at MIT Integrated Learning Initiative, the article leverages research from Sloan Management Review that details the top five predictors of attrition and four actions managers can take to reduce turnover.
3. Organizational Culture Assessments. As illustrated in the screenshot below, sharing helpful resources, tools and best practices for organizations hoping to perform an ‘Organizational Culture Assessment.’
Moving forward, as a ‘thank you’ for all of the continued engagement and knowledge sharing, our CultureSpace community will receive exclusive access to free webinars and “first looks” at upcoming events, including speaker announcements, course offerings, volunteer opportunities, and service launches.
