What if the way we build culture inside our organizations also created meaningful impact outside our walls? Join this 2-in-1 session that combines a presentation with a live, real-time opportunity to give back to the Madison community right from where you sit!

 

This session champions the role of giving back and corporate volunteering as a powerful and often underutilized way to build strong, connected, and purpose driven teams. Drawing on recent research and real world examples, we will explore how organizations that embed social impact into their culture see measurable gains in employee attraction, engagement, and retention while also making a tangible difference in their communities. We will also focus on proven and practical ways to build or strengthen your own organization's give back initiatives.

Mid-session, participants will get a chance to have some fun while giving back to a local community cause. We'd say more...but let's not spoil the surprise.

Participants will leave ready to:​

1. Connect giving back initiatives to measurable culture and engagement outcomes.

2. Integrate social impact practices into their team or organization regardless of size or budget.

3. Challenge their organization to think beyond itself and consider its broader community impact.

Speaker Bio:

Caleb Campbell has spent the past 25 years helping mission-minded organizations and leaders do their most impactful work. Caleb is currently the Chief People Officer at Kinetik, a health tech company dedicated to removing transportation as a barrier to healthcare, especially for our nation's most vulnerable communities and people. He is also the acting President of Abba's Pride, a non-profit organization that feeds, teaches, and develops children in under-resourced communities of rural South Africa.

Caleb has led philanthropic and volunteer strategies, programs, and events for several organizations in the United States, and he travels internationally to support local community building and leadership development efforts in Africa, Asia, and Central America. Caleb has spoken and collaborated with CultureCon several times in the past, and he's always excited to meet new people, build new relationships, and learn new ways to lead organizations and leave our world just a little better than we found it.

Caleb lives with his family in the middle of nowhere Alabama. They enjoy anything outdoors, any types of sports, music, and theater, and travel to anywhere NOT in Alabama :-)
