"The Culture Current: An Interactive Lab in Distributed Leadership"
---
Most organizations feel caught between two pressures: moving faster to compete while caring for people and wellbeing. This interactive session shows how both are possible through what we call the Culture Current.

The Culture Current is a live systems experience that demonstrates how culture actually shifts. Rather than relying on top down initiatives, participants see how small, visible actions and distributed leadership practices create momentum when a critical mass of people model new behaviors consistently.

Grounded in research on organizational health, social contagion, and brain based leadership, the session makes invisible influence visible. Participants move through interactive stations focused on clarity, connection, trust, and alignment using CultureCon itself as a real time case study. Through an embodied experience, attendees see how collective energy forms around ideas and how influence spreads across systems.

The session concludes by anchoring these insights to everyday leadership practices like feedback, delegation, and coaching, showing how micro actions compound into sustained performance and cultural change. Participants leave with one concrete shift they can apply immediately and a framework for recognizing when culture begins to move on its own.

Participants will leave ready to:
-
Recognize how influence spreads through social systems and identify tipping-point moments in their own organization.
-
Apply feedback, delegation, and coaching practices that strengthen clarity, trust, connection, and alignment.
-
Test one immediate behavior shift and use a repeatable method for scaling culture through micro-actions.

Speaker Bio:
Erica Stanulis is a culture strategist, executive coach, and founder of Follow the Sun, a transformation practice helping leaders build clarity, connection, and alignment in times of change. With more than 25 years of experience across engineering, biotech, and technology, Erica blends systems thinking and neuroscience to guide leaders and teams through complex transformations. Early in her career, Erica observed a pattern: most organizational transformations fail not because of strategy gaps, but because leaders feel isolated in their change work and unclear about how their actions influence the broader system. This insight led her to design the 10X Lab—a session that makes invisible influence visible and gives leaders a concrete framework for distributed leadership.

Her work integrates research from Scott Keller and Colin Price on organizational health to help leaders shift from reactive habits to regenerative practices. As the creator of The Recalibration Method, Erica teaches leaders to simplify complexity, manage energy, and align culture through small, repeatable actions that compound over time.

Erica's workshops—including The 10X Lab, The Creative Break, and custom transformation experiences—blend practical tools with experiential learning, grounding abstract concepts in real-time, embodied discovery. Her approach integrates emotional intelligence and brain science to deepen self-awareness and build psychological safety across teams. She has advised and facilitated for clients across sectors including technology, healthcare, and professional services. Her work has supported organizations through rapid scaling, leadership transitions, and cultural realignment. Erica holds an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Change from Pepperdine University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
