1. Why are you changing the name?

This decision comes down to two things: clarity and growth.

First, we wanted a brand that is uniquely ours. There are other "CultureCon" organizations operating in the U.S. and internationally, and as we've grown, it has become increasingly important to establish a distinct identity.

Second, our work has expanded beyond conferences. While workplace culture remains at the heart of what we do, we now create experiences, content, research, and community opportunities that support people year round.

The name WorkPossible isn't new to our community. Over the past two years, we've used it in partnership with our friends at Fauna as the name of our annual employee research project and a podcast mini-series. During that time, it consistently resonated with our community, sparked curiosity, and built meaningful momentum. Rather than inventing something entirely new, we're building on a name that already carries trust and recognition.

WorkPossible gives us room to grow while staying rooted in our mission: helping people create more meaningful work experiences and positive workplace cultures.

2. What's the vision behind the name?

WorkPossible reflects a broader vision while staying grounded in what has always mattered most to us.

From the very beginning, our belief has been:

"Every individual, regardless of role, has the power to make work more meaningful for themselves and their organization."

That belief isn't changing.

As a Certified B Corporation, we've always believed work can be a force for good. The question guiding us forward is:

"What's possible when we use work as a force for good?"

WorkPossible gives us space to explore that question more fully.

While workplace culture remains central to our work, we'll continue exploring adjacent topics including leadership, innovation, social impact, organizational development, technology, and the changing nature of work.

3. Is CultureCon going away?

The name, yes.

Moving forward, our events, content, research, and community experiences will live under the WorkPossible brand.

While the name is changing, the heart of CultureCon remains exactly the same: meaningful learning, authentic connection, and practical action that helps people create better workplaces.

4. Are you moving away from workplace culture?

Not at all.

Workplace culture remains at the heart of who we are and what we do.

CultureCon was built on the belief that work can be more meaningful for everyone, and that every individual has the power to help create better workplace experiences that strengthen organizations and communities. That belief remains unchanged.

What is changing is our ability to connect workplace culture to adjacent conversations including leadership, innovation, social impact, organizational development, technology, and the changing nature of work itself.

WorkPossible gives us room to explore those ideas while remaining firmly rooted in workplace culture.

5. What does "WorkPossible" mean?

At its core, it's a belief.

Better work is possible for ourselves, our organizations, and our communities.

WorkPossible represents the aspirational idea that every individual can shape more meaningful, human-centered work experiences that create a positive ripple effect, regardless of their title or role.

6. Is this just a name change, or something more?

It's more than a name change.

This marks our evolution from a conference brand into a year-round platform focused on helping people build better workplaces.

Over time, you'll see:

  • More content and ways to engage throughout the year

  • Expanded learning experiences

  • New research and practical resources

  • More opportunities to connect ideas with action

  • New ways for speakers, sponsors, and community members to stay involved beyond our conferences

Our mission hasn't changed. We're simply creating more ways to support it.

7. Will the community change?

No. The Culture Geek community is the foundation of everything we do.

Whether you've joined us as an attendee, speaker, sponsor, volunteer, exhibitor, or partner, you're an important part of what comes next.

You can continue to expect:

  • The same people-first mindset

  • The same focus on meaningful connection

  • The same welcoming community

  • The same commitment to practical ideas that make work better

We're building on what exists, not replacing it.

8. What does this mean for sponsors and partners?

Our commitment to sponsors and partners isn't changing. It's expanding.

WorkPossible creates new opportunities to build meaningful partnerships beyond a single annual conference. As our events, content, research, and community continue to grow, we'll create more ways for partners to share their expertise, engage our audience, and support conversations shaping the future of work.

Just as importantly, our commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences and meaningful value for our partners remains unchanged.

9. What does this mean for speakers?

Our speakers have always been one of the defining strengths of our community.

While speaking at our conferences will remain central to what we do, WorkPossible creates new opportunities to amplify great ideas through podcasts, research, webinars, written content, future learning experiences, and other year-round initiatives.

Our goal is simple: help exceptional ideas reach more people and create a lasting impact beyond the conference stage.

10. Will future events still focus on workplace culture?

Absolutely. Workplace culture will continue to be the foundation of our programming and community.

As WorkPossible evolves, we'll continue exploring leadership, innovation, social impact, technology, and the future of work—but always through the lens of helping people create more meaningful work experiences.

We're expanding the conversation, not leaving it behind.

11. Will WorkPossible offer anything new?

Yes. One of the reasons we're becoming WorkPossible is to create room for new ways to help people build better workplaces.

Beginning in 2027, we'll introduce an optional annual membership that provides access to all three WorkPossible events at significant savings, along with flexible payment options and additional member benefits.

Membership is completely optional. You'll still be able to purchase tickets to individual events exactly as you always have.

Beyond membership, you'll continue to see new research, learning experiences, podcasts, community initiatives, and year-round opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.

12. How can I help spread the word about WorkPossible?

The greatest way you can support this next chapter is simply by sharing the story behind it.

Our mission is to help people create more meaningful work experiences and positive workplace cultures by empowering every individual to make work better for themselves, their organizations, and their communities.

WorkPossible is the natural evolution of that mission as we've grown beyond a single conference into a year-round platform for learning, connection, and positive change.

If you'd like to play an even bigger role, we'd love to invite you to become a WorkPossible Brand Ambassador. You'll receive early updates, shareable social media content, and other opportunities to help introduce WorkPossible to new audiences.

Thank you for helping us build better workplaces and brighter futures!
